An Exclusive Tour

We have a special treat for our readers. So, everyone, please make sure your hardhats are secure because we're heading to the roof of the new building...

This picture shows how expansive Houston is. New York City could fit almost two times inside of Houston's city limit (that's if you consider the 2000 Census data).

Below is a view South, from the fourth floor.

What a view!

Tuesday, January 19

This week's construction has started with continued installation of siding supports. If you look across the bottom floor, what will be the underground parking garage, you can see the sparks dropping from the welders' buzzing torches.

Below you'll see that even security at the construction site is environmentally friendly. Plus, I'm sure nearby neighbors wouldn't have appreciated a gas generator humming all night to power these cameras.

(Above:) Facing northwest from Waugh and Westheimer roads, the new building is hard to miss.

This week, many cement trucks made many deliveries to the site. A concrete pump then aided workers in their task of completing each floor.

(Below:) The stairs have been fully installed, the elevator shaft will be completed later on

A New Decade, A New Legacy

Construction continued as we ushered in a new decade this past weekend.

Workers are now preparing to install the building's utility lines; all the nerves and cappillaries of the new building now that the steel skeleton is in place.

We at Legacy Community Health Services are so excited about what this new decade has in store. We're ready to continue leaving our Legacy by building healthy Houston communities. If you'd like to leave your own Legacy through the work we do, please consider donating here!
And remember, any donation of any size counts. Like with the building, every small piece in some way or another helps make it strong. Thank you!

Moving on up!

The framework of Legacy's new clinic in Montrose stands tall.

The soon-to-be windows will overlook the ever-expanding canopy of the beautiful 100-year-old oak trees.

What was once a concept is now a piece of Legacy.
